Especially in Southern and Midwestern states, it appears as though there is a large percentage of voters who voted for a white male who isn’t in the race anymore as opposed to a female or black male. What does this mean for the eventual nominee?
I think it is good for Obama in terms of delegates, but looking at the general, it doesn’t look good for either Obama or Hillary.
Could the CW that a voter who wouldn’t consider voting for a female or African-American isn’t a Democrat be wrong?
I always thought so. The Eastern establishment often forgets, in terms of values and status, that the core of the Democratic party is blue-collar, traditional workers. These people don’t like faith-bashing and they certainly would rather vote for a white male then a minority.
Let’s see who has the courage to bring it up…
